The ACT Team Leader provides supervision and direction for the program from administrative to clinical operations of the service. Only one Qualified Professional shall assume the role as Team Leader. Qualifications are set forth in Table 2 and Division of Medical Assistance Clinical Coverage Policy 8C; the Team Leader shall meet a Qualified Professional status according to 10A NCAC 27G .0104.
Essential Job Functions: Acts as clinical and administrative supervisor of the team, overseeing the operations of the team, providing clinical oversight of services in conjunction with the Psychiatric Care Provider. Provide clinical supervision. Supervising team members to assure the delivery of best and ethical practices. Managing human resources. Directly providing services to ACT service individuals. Active role in screening referrals and assessing individuals at intake. Functions as a lead clinician, therefore working closely with a select group of service individuals Modeling behaviors through service provision for the purpose of clinical supervision. Participating in person-centered planning meetings. Facilitate individual’s natural supports. Provides structured face-to-face scheduled therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains: adaptive, communication, personal care, domestic, psychosocial, problem solving, etc. in preventing, overcoming, or managing the recipient’s level of functioning and enhancing his/her ability to remain in the community. Make every effort to meet critical standards contained in the most current edition of the National Program Standards for ACT Teams as established by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or US Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Mental Health Services. Provides QA staff service notes and ensure timeliness Approves timesheets and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Coordinates and conducts peer review Ensures incident reports are prepared and submitted on time Manages utilization review Assists in preparing employee evaluations Assists in training new employees Completes required training within prescribed timeframes Successfully participates in the DMH approved ACTT training Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises all ACTT direct service employees Minimum Education Qualifications: The team leader shall be a licensed mental health professional holding any of the following licenses: licensed psychologist, licensed psychological associate, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist certified as an advanced practice psychiatric clinical nurse specialist A graduate from a college/university with nationally recognized accreditation with a Master’s degree in a related human service field Has one year of full-time, post-graduate accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served Two years supervisory experience preferredTo apply for this job email your details to akiriya.threatt@eastersealsucp.com
